Founded in 2000, Nordic Venture Partners is a multi-stage venture capital firm which was originally a unit of Danske Bank. In 2004 Nordic Venture Partners emerged as an independent entity in a management buy-out from Danske Bank.

Nordic Venture Partners currently manages €335 million in committed venture capital. The bulk of the capital is provided by international institutional and financial investors and entrepreneurs.

NVP Seed, a €70 million fund, and NVP Nordic, a €150 million fund, were raised in 2000. NVP II, a €115 million fund, was raised in 2004.
