Dagbladet Børsen Publishes First Edition to Apple iPad with SAXOTECH Mediaware Center

April 20, 2011 - SAXOTECH, a leader in content management, circulation and advertising solutions, announced today, Dagbladet Børsen (Denmark) has successfully extended its newsroom to include multi-channel distribution and has published its first edition to the Apple iPad.

With One Touch Publishing, the SAXOTECH Mediaware Center enables Børsen to publish content in new ways that reach readers who are more mobile and tend to get their news in digital formats. SAXOTECH Mediaware Center’s channel workflow provides the media company with the tools needed to efficiently manage where they want to tell the story, whether it be print, online, mobile devices or tablets.

"Readers are increasingly turning to mobile devices to stay educated and informed and this was a natural direction for Børsen to take," said Klaus Jensen, IT director, Dagbladet Børsen. "With the SAXOTECH Mediaware Center, we can deliver rich user experiences to print and our digital channels all within the same workflow."

"For more than five years, we’ve partnered with Børsen to help them reach their business goals of being Denmark’s leading supplier of business news and information, a strategy they’ve implemented with great success," said Jesper Frank, senior vice president, SAXOTECH. "They have always been a visionary media company, and with more readers wanting their news content digitally, this was a natural step for Børsen to take. We are pleased that Børsen and SAXOTECH are continuing their partnership of developing new and engaging publishing solutions."
