Montreal-based Gesca Selects SAXOTECH Exclusively for All Seven Newspaper Properties
Tampa, Fla. - January 20, 2011 - SAXOTECH, a leader in content management, circulation and advertising solutions, announced today, Montreal-based Gesca, one of Canada's premiere media companies, will expand its usage of the SAXOTECH Mediaware Center to an additional two media properties – Le Nouvelliste and La Tribune. SAXOTECH's content management solution will now be utilized by all seven of Gesca's sites.
Le Nouvelliste and La Tribune will be the sixth and seventh publication respectively to implement SAXOTECH's flexible and feature-rich multi-channel publishing platform. The SAXOTECH Mediaware Center is a highly configurable content management solution that will bring Gesca's print and digital publishing together, allowing all seven newspaper sites to share and produce news content in a streamlined and collaborative environment.
The SAXOTECH Mediaware Center will provide Gesca's content producers with the tools to plan stories and manage content based on resource availability. All seven of Gesca's newspaper sites will have access to organization-wide assets utilizing the SAXOTECH Mediaware Center enabling all users to pool their resources for regional and national stories. With a completely integrated newsroom, Gesca's publishers will be able to significantly improve the efficiency of its newspaper operations while continuing to produce quality news products, cost effectively across all channels.
