SAXOTECH Exceeds 2010 Goals with Strong Product Momentum in Digital and Print Publishing, Advertising and Circulation

Tampa, Fla. – January 31, 2011 – SAXOTECH, a leader in content management, circulation and advertising solutions, announced today it ended 2010 exceeding its revenue target and grew business through key product launches and enhancements, improved customer service and the acquisition of Data Sciences, Inc., adding circulation solutions to its existing suite of print and digital publishing products.

In 2010, SAXOTECH added more than 130 newspaper sites while serving one billion page views per month for more than 1,500-plus web sites on SAXOTECH's U.S. and European clouds. Throughout the year, SAXOTECH focused on its customers and the development of its product suite; providing solutions to enable media companies to better manage their limited resources, increase efficiencies and reduce operational costs. SAXOTECH added key product functionality and a second international cloud to provide publishers the tools they need to have the ability to connect more with their communities.

"2010 was a good year for SAXOTECH, and despite a struggling economy, I am very pleased with our results," said Anders Christiansen, CEO, SAXOTECH. "We have an exciting product portfolio and we are playing a key role in delivering the tools and technologies that make the publishing industry more accessible."

New Products and Enhancements

SAXOTECH introduced One Touch Publishing, extending audience reach to multiple platforms. Publishers can create content once and not only distribute to print and web, but also to multiple digital channels such as mobile devices, tablets like the iPad and e-readers. These extended capabilities not only save much needed time and resources but also allow media companies to reach new audiences that they were never before able to capture.

SAXOTECH also launched a new Directory Publishing Center with greater flexibility to meet specific branding requirement, intuitive self-service features to create rich and interactive premium listings, payment processing to serve both businesses and consumers, data integration for immediate building of business listings, and relevance targeting for tying ads to editorial content, categories, keywords and geographic regions.

History has proven that SAXOTECH provides experienced customer service professionals that know the media industry. Customer satisfaction continues to increase year-over-year and in 2010, the implementation teams launched more than 30 successful go-lives in the United States, Canada and Europe.

In June, SAXOTECH responded to customer demand and added a second SAXOTECH cloud to support its global customer base. With more than 400 customer sites already in live use within SAXOTECH's North American cloud, a second SAXOTECH cloud was created to meet the growing international demand for its hosted solutions. The highly scalable new hosting environment provided media companies with greater flexibility to adapt to advances and changes in the digital environment.

Christiansen added, "As we look to 2011, there are three critical areas for us that lay the foundation for long-term growth and future success – a product portfolio that is stronger than ever, our commitment to cloud computing and an employee base that is innovative and customer-focused. We are confident in our business strategy and look forward to an exciting new year."
