California Coastal Commission
The California Coastal Commission has been on a mission to protect and enhance California’s coastline since 1972. Since hosting the first Coastal Cleanup Day event in 1985, more than 1.6 million volunteers have removed over 26 million pounds of trash from beaches and inland waterways across the state.
